Add Text to Each Line

Add a prefix, suffix or both to each line of a text. Useful for bulk formatting of lists and data.

How to use?

Paste your text into the input field and set the prefix and/or suffix that should go on each line. It works well for adding list markers, quotes, HTML tags or any other delimiter.

Add a prefix or suffix to each line

Repeating the same snippet at the start or end of several lines (quotes, commas, tags, commands) gets tiring when done by hand. The tool adds a prefix, a suffix or both to each line of a text in one go.

It's a simple trick that saves plenty of time on bulk formatting. Paste the list, say what comes before and after each line, and it applies that to all of them. Great for turning a list into commands, wrapping items in quotes, building SQL lines or preparing data for code.

The processing runs in the browser and the list doesn't leave it. Paste it, set the pattern and copy the already-formatted result.
