Understanding WCAG
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) set the minimum contrast a piece of content needs so that people with low vision can read it.
- • AA — Normal text: ratio ≥ 4.5:1
- • AA — Large text (≥18pt or ≥14pt bold): ratio ≥ 3:1
- • AAA — Normal text: ratio ≥ 7:1
- • AAA — Large text: ratio ≥ 4.5:1
