Damm Checksum Validator
Compute and validate the Damm (2004) check digit — a totally anti-symmetric quasigroup algorithm detecting 100% of single-digit typos and adjacent transpositions. Simpler than Verhoeff: a single 10×10 op table, no permutations.
Sobre o Damm checksum
Algoritmo de H. Michael Damm (2004). Usa um quasigrupo totalmente antissimétrico — uma tabela 10×10 — e processa os dígitos sequencialmente com interim digit começando em 0. O dígito verificador é o interim final ao processar a sequência (sem o check digit). Validação aplica o mesmo procedimento à sequência completa: se o interim final é 0, a sequência é válida.
