Hipster Ipsum Generator

Hipster Lorem Ipsum: artisan, kombucha, mustache, vinyl, kale, gentrify. Perfect for café and alt-brand mock-ups.

Filler copy that sounds like a coffee bar

The layout is finished, the client copy is late, and dropping 'Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet' on a coffee shop homepage makes the mockup read like a legal notice. Placeholder text carries tone whether you want it to or not. Latin reads institutional; kombucha, vinyl and beard read like the audience the brand is chasing, and that shifts how the review meeting goes.

There is no grammar engine under the hood. The generator draws words at random from a fixed list of 50 English terms, builds sentences of 6 to 12 words, always 6 sentences per paragraph, and accepts 1 to 30 paragraphs. A paragraph lands around 55 words. Roughly one sentence in five gets a comma, always right after the first word, and one in ten ends with an exclamation mark. Words are drawn with replacement, so repeats happen.

Use it to gauge text volume and test line wrapping, not to proof real typography: the vocabulary is English only, so you never see accented characters, and long entries such as 'farm-to-table' stretch a line well past the average. The page has no copy button, so select the block and press Ctrl+C. Everything is generated in your browser, with no request sent anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

How many paragraphs can I generate at once?
Between 1 and 30. Anything larger is clamped to 30, and anything below 1 becomes a single paragraph.
Can it produce text in another language?
No. The word list is English only: artisan, kombucha, kale, vinyl, fixie. For accented characters you need a filler generator built for that language.
Does clicking again repeat the same text?
Every click re-rolls the whole block, so two identical results are effectively impossible. Copy anything you want to keep before generating again.
