Adjust an image's brightness and contrast
A photo that's too dark or lifeless changes completely with small brightness and contrast tweaks. You make those adjustments with real-time sliders, watching the result on the image as you drag the controls.
Brightness lightens or darkens the whole image; contrast works on the difference between light and dark areas, giving more or less "punch". Touching both at once solves most of a photo's exposure problems, and you don't even need a professional editor.
