RGB e CMY
O RGB é aditivo (somam-se luzes vermelha, verde e azul); o CMY é subtrativo (pigmentos ciano, magenta e amarelo absorvem cor). A relação é direta: C = 1 − R, M = 1 − G, Y = 1 − B (com os valores normalizados). O CMYK da impressão acrescenta o preto (K) para economizar tinta.
