Random Tarot Card Draw and Meaning

Maybe you want a card of the day without shuffling a physical deck, or you are studying the Major Arcana and need to drill the keywords until they stick. The page draws one of the 22 major cards, from the Fool to the World, and shows two or three terms next to it that sum up the traditional upright meaning, such as transformation for Death or upheaval for the Tower.

Two things to know first. The deck here is the 22 Major Arcana only, so the 56 minor cards across cups, coins, swords and wands are never drawn. Meanings are upright only, with no reversed readings. As for the text field: it acts as a trigger, and every keystroke fires a fresh draw. Typing the same text does not bring back the same card, because each draw is random. Card names and keywords are in Portuguese.

It works well as a flashcard drill: draw a card, say out loud what you remember about it, and only then read the keywords to check yourself. Treat them as a starting point rather than an interpretation, since meaning shifts with the question and with the neighboring cards.
