UTM Parameters Cleaner
Remove utm_* (and fbclid, gclid, ...) tracking parameters from a URL.
Share the link, not the tracking baggage
Every link copied from a newsletter, an ad or a social app comes bloated: utm_source, utm_campaign, fbclid, gclid and friends double the URL's length, reveal which campaign you came from and keep tracking whoever clicks. Paste the URL here and it comes out clean instantly, with a list of what was removed right below, so you can check before sharing or saving it.
The cleanup uses a fixed list of known prefixes: utm_ (Google Analytics), gclid, gbraid and wbraid (Google Ads), fbclid (Facebook), igshid (Instagram), mc_cid and mc_eid (Mailchimp), _hsenc, _hsmi and hsCtaTracking (HubSpot) and yclid (Yandex). Everything else is left alone on purpose: an id=42 or page=2 may be what decides which content opens, and stripping it would break the link. That is why the tool shows exactly which parameters were dropped.
Use it before posting a link in a group chat, bookmarking it or putting it in documentation, where a short neutral URL ages better. Do not use it on your own campaign links before sending: without the UTMs, your analytics loses source attribution. Since the list is fixed, less common trackers such as Twitter's twclid or a site's custom parameters pass through untouched; check the result. The URL is processed in your browser and never sent anywhere.
