Custo Combustível Viagem

Calcula custo total da viagem: km ÷ consumo (km/L) × preço/L.

Custo (R$)

Trip fuel cost: formula and examples

The trip cost works out to cost = (distance / consumption_km_per_L) · price_per_L. Example: São Paulo–Rio de Janeiro runs about 430 km. A car doing 12 km/L on gasoline at R$ 6.00/L burns 430/12 ≈ 35.8 L, which comes to R$ 215. A hybrid usually trims that by 30–40%, and a battery EV lands around a quarter of it, since electricity costs less per kilometer than gasoline. Don't forget to tack on tolls on routes like Imigrantes (SP–coast) or Dutra (SP–RJ), plus parking and any ferry or paid stretch.

Applications

It helps with road trip planning and lets rideshare drivers (Uber/99) gauge their net earnings. You can also use it for freight and delivery pricing, to pit two cars against each other on a real route (say, a VW Gol versus a long-range Renault Megane), or to weigh bus vs car for a family. The car often comes out ahead once you split the cost among 3–4 passengers.

FAQ

How accurate is the result? It runs off the average consumption you type in. Real-world consumption swings with traffic, AC, cargo and altitude, so give yourself a 10–15% margin.

Should I include tolls? Not here. This calculator covers fuel alone, so add tolls on your own when you compare routes.

Ethanol or gasoline for the trip? Go by the 70% rule. When ethanol price ÷ gasoline price ≤ 0.70, ethanol pays off; above that, stick with gasoline.
