A complete text analysis
Behind any text there are numbers that help you understand it better: how many words, how long the sentences, how easy it is to read. This tool runs a complete analysis of whatever you paste, going well beyond a simple word count.
It shows characters (with and without spaces), words, sentences, paragraphs and lines. It identifies the most frequent word, estimates reading and speaking time and also calculates the Flesch readability index, which signals how easy the text is to understand. One caveat there: the constants are the Portuguese adaptation (248.835 − 1.015·ASL − 84.6·ASW), not the 206.835 of the original English formula, so an English text scores roughly 42 points higher here than on the Flesch scale you know. It's a useful X-ray for copywriters, students and anyone wanting to improve the clarity of their writing.
Since all processing happens in the browser, the text never leaves your computer. Paste the content and see every metric in one go.
