Estratégia Básica Blackjack

You are sitting on 16 and the dealer shows a 10. Hitting feels reckless, standing feels worse. Basic strategy settles it with a table instead of a gut call: for every combination of your hand and the dealer upcard there is one play with the best expected return. Enter your total, the dealer card and the hand type, and the answer comes back as Hit, Stand, Double or Split.

The pair field is what trips people up: you type the total of the two cards, not the rank of one. Two eights are 16, two aces are 22, and 22 is accepted even though the label suggests 4 to 21. If the total is odd in pair mode, the answer quietly falls through to the hard hand logic. Actions are shown in English on both language versions, which matches the vocabulary used at the table anyway.

This is a trimmed down chart. It never asks how many decks are in play, whether the dealer hits soft 17, or whether doubling after a split is allowed, and it covers neither surrender nor insurance. When it says Double and you already hold three cards or the house forbids it, the fallback is to hit hard hands and stand on soft 18. Basic strategy pulls the house edge down near 0.5%; it does not flip the game.
