Win Rate Calculator

You wrote down 35 wins across 60 games and you want the number people actually compare. Win rate is wins divided by total games, times 100, which in that example comes out to 58.33%. Watch the second field: it asks for total games played, not the number of losses. Swapping those two is the most common mistake here, and it inflates the result in a way that is easy to miss.

Draws are the detail that changes the answer. There is no field for them, so the call is yours: counting draws inside the total pulls the rate down, while counting only wins and losses pushes it up. Chess sites and some esports publish both versions, which is why numbers from two trackers rarely match exactly. Note also that nothing is capped at 100%, so a result like 120% means you entered more wins than games.

Small samples produce tidy numbers that mean very little. Three wins in five games is 60%, and one more game moves that to 50% or 66% without anything changing about how you play. For a stable reading, use at least a few dozen games and recalculate per season instead of adding up the whole life of the account, because a career total hides recent slumps.
