Jogo da Memória 4×4

Memória com 8 pares emoji.

Pares: 0/8

Eight animal pairs and an 800 ms window

Sometimes you want a memory game right now: to keep a child busy in a waiting room, to take a two-minute break between tasks, or to check whether your head still holds the position of eight pairs on a small grid. Installing an app, creating an account and sitting through an ad halfway through the round defeats the whole point.

There are 16 cards in four rows, eight pairs of animal emoji shuffled at the start of every game. Flip two: if they match, they stay face up and the pair counter goes up; if they differ, they flip back after 800 milliseconds. The board is locked during that pause and clicks on other cards do nothing, so use the delay to memorise where things sit.

The scoreboard shows found pairs only, as 0/8. There is no timer, no move counter and no victory message: you know you are done when the counter reads 8/8 and every card is face up. Cards are 50 pixels wide, playable on a phone but a small target. Restart deals a fresh layout, and nothing is saved anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards and pairs are on the board?
Sixteen cards laid out 4 by 4, making eight pairs of animal emoji.
Is there a timer or a leaderboard?
No. The only indicator is the found-pairs counter, and it resets when you restart or reload the page.
Why does my click sometimes not flip a card?
Because two non-matching cards are already face up and the board stays locked for 800 milliseconds until they turn back.
