Plot coordinates on a map
Loose latitude and longitude in the abstract are confusing, because no number tells you where anything is. The tool drops those coordinates onto an interactive map, based on OpenStreetMap, so you can see the points in their real place.
Markers go in two ways. You can click directly on the map, which shows the point's coordinates, or type latitude and longitude to pin an exact position. It comes in handy for checking GPS data, visualising a list of places, planning a route or just figuring out where a pair of coordinates lands.
The map loads in the browser from OpenStreetMap, and the points you add stay only on your screen. It's a practical way to turn numbers into geography.
