Title and meta description at the ideal length

The title and description that come out in a Google result have a counted amount of room. Go past the limit, and the text gets cut with an ellipsis and the message is lost halfway. The tool checks whether your <title> and meta description fall within the recommended ranges.

The sweet spot runs around 50 to 60 characters for the title and 150 to 160 for the description, and it flags when you're on target, too short or overflowing the limit. Better yet: it shows a preview of the snippet as it would appear in search, so you can adjust the text while already seeing the final result.

It runs in the browser, on the spot. A simple SEO tweak that gives your link a better look on Google and can pull the click-through rate upward.
