The deadline says ten business days, the contract says thirty days of notice, and counting on your fingers never ends well. Enter a start date and an end date and the tool returns how many working days sit in the interval, skipping Saturdays, Sundays and Brazilian national holidays that fall on a fixed calendar date. The count is inclusive: if both ends land on working days, both are in the total.

Only fixed-date holidays are recognised, the ones that sit on the same calendar day every year. The movable ones are outside the calculation because they depend on Easter, so Good Friday, Carnival and Corpus Christi are not deducted. State and city holidays are not covered either, and those matter in places like Rio and São Paulo, which have their own dates as early as January. Check your range against the official calendar for the year.

For court deadlines, Brazilian civil procedure excludes the starting day and includes the due day. Since this count takes both ends, enter the day after the triggering act as your start date rather than the act itself. For banking deadlines, check whether your city has a local holiday, because a closed bank usually pushes the due date forward. No date is sent anywhere: the counting happens in your browser.
