Pontuação Yahtzee

The same argument comes up every game night: does three of a kind score all five dice or only the matching three? And does a small straight need four in a row, or does a gap still count? Here you type the five dice separated by spaces, pick one of the thirteen scorecard categories, and see what that roll is worth on that specific line before you commit it to paper.

The values follow the standard scorecard. Three and four of a kind score the sum of all five dice, not just the matching ones, so 4 4 4 2 1 scores 15 as three of a kind. Full house is a flat 25, small straight 30, large straight 40 and Yahtzee 50, while chance is the plain total. Upper section lines are the count times the face: three 5s on the Fives line give 15. Five of a kind does not score as a full house.

Watch out for one quirk of the dice field: if you type fewer than five values, or a 7, the result reads 0, which is the same 0 you get from a roll that genuinely scores nothing on that line. Check that you entered five numbers from 1 to 6 before trusting a zero. It scores one category at a time and does not keep a card: no running total, no 35-point upper bonus, no Yahtzee bonus.
